Dear multipotentialites,
It is with great pride and delight that I present to you Puttylike 2.0.
Welcome to our new home!!!!
Our visions for the future
Last week, I shared my reflections on the first decade of Puttylike. There’s no way to predict what our next 10 years will look like, but the writing team and I thought it would be nice to share a bit about the topics and themes we’re excited to explore:

Y’all, I am so excited to share ideas and community with you on the new Puttylike! The new layout is going to let us incorporate so many more beautiful visuals, so get ready for photo essays, comics, more video, and artist features. As managing editor, I also can’t wait to bring you more personal stories from multipotentialites around the world—I want all of you to see experiences like yours reflected here, and also to learn from folks who are totally different from you. I want to continue to make Puttylike the place you go to for genuine conversation, heartfelt support, out-of-the-box guidance, and multi-glorious inspiration.
Kristin
My favorite thing about writing for Puttylike is being a part of such an open, welcoming community. This past year, I’ve gotten to write about the challenges I struggle with as a multipotentialite, which is mostly figuring out how to navigate my identity in a world with such limiting definitions of identity. I look forward to exploring more of that with you. A big part of being a multipod is learning to embrace your whole self, and that requires vulnerability and openness, so it’s not surprising that this community is so accepting and encouraging of all ideas and pursuits—the world needs more of that.
Neil
It’s a huge privilege to write for Puttylike. Over the years I’ve been endlessly inspired by the community and I’m thrilled to see what this new chapter brings for us all. I’m keen to keep exploring what it means to be a multipotentialite, with a particular focus on mental health, fulfilment, and surprising combinations of seemingly diverse passions.
Emilie
I’m super excited for us to continue expanding our idea of what Puttylike can be. I would love to read more personal narratives from multipotentialites from cultures or societies that are very different from my own. I’m excited to feature more people who are smooshing different domains together in interesting ways. (We started a series called Genrebend recently, and I can’t wait to publish more pieces in the series.)
I’m also looking forward to focusing more on the intersections of multipotentiality & mental health, and multipotentiality & social justice. I want to keep pushing Puttylike to be a positive force for change, on a personal level and a cultural level.

If you spot any broken links or images while you’re exploring, feel free to email me and let me know. This was a huge, technically complicated project and it’s totally possible that there will be some hiccups.
Thank yous!
An enormous thanks to my programmer, Arwyn Todd, who went back and forth and back and forth with me for over a year, trying to get the site looking exactly right. Arwyn, thank you—for your tech skills, of course—but also for your patience and humour!
Thanks to Claire and Joel and everyone on our amazing team for your support, feedback and ideas!
Finally, good gosh! Thanks to all of you multipods in the community. Those who have been with me since the beginning and those who found Puttylike more recently.
You are everything.
Your pal and fellow multipotentialite,
Emilie
