Want an Accountability Buddy? What’s New This Month in the Multipotentialite Community

Hey multipod friends!

Have you ever dreamed of having an accountability buddy who’s also a multipotentialite? Someone to talk with about your many goals and projects? Someone to check in with, and to give you a hearty “way to go!” when you take action?

We’re welcoming a new group of multipotentialites to the Puttytribe this week, and I just wanted to shoot you a message to tell you about all of the awesome things we have coming up in the community in July. Cause there’s a lot!

1. Accountability buddies

When it comes to pursuing your passions and projects, accountability can be a game-changer. Having a supportive friend to check in with and report back to can really help you take action and make progress. It can also help you feel way less alone and that’s why we just rolled out a brand new accountability matchmaking system in the Puttytribe.

In your second week in the community, you’ll have the option to get paired up with another puttypeep or placed in a small group with similar interests/projects.

2. Camp NaNoWriMo

Ever dream of writing a book? Heather, one of our puttypeep, is going to be hosting a NaNoWriMo Cabin for puttypeep for the July 2018 Camp NaNoWriMo! What the heck is is a NaNo cabin, you ask? In her words:

“There are NaNo spaces called ‘Cabins’, where you can post your progress or check-in with other Cabin-mates, just like summer camp! You’ll set your word goal from 30 to a million, rather than the set 50,000 in November. You can also work on any writing project, editing, non-novel, etc, rather than the set ‘novel from scratch’ during the November event.”

3. A poetry reading!

This spring, some members of the Puttytribe completed our second Puttycomp. It’s a collection of love poems dedicated to our favourite people, places, passions, hobbies…ANYTHING. The ebook was just released to the community and we’ve decided to hold a reading in early July. All puttypeep are welcome to attend the reading and it will be recorded and shared in the community for those who can’t make it live.

4. Jumpstart July

Finally, we’ll be running a Jumpstart July, which is basically where you choose a month-long challenge for yourself (e.g. meditating every day, working on your new business or website, learning a new skill, etc.) and track your progress in the forum and support huddles.

There’s so much going on. And those are just the “special” events. We also have all of the regular huddles, multipotentialite mixers, and forum & group action!

Of course, everything’s optional. Multipods are busy so participate as much as time will allow. (Even our lurkers have loads of great things to say about how the Tribe has helped them.) I’m just saying, there’s PLENTY of awesomeness happening in the multipotentialite community right now.
