For years people have asked me if I’ve ever thought about organizing a conference for multipotentialites.
“Yeah, I know. That would be awesome… Maybe someday…” Was usually my response.
It just sounded like so much work, and I always had other things I was working on.
But when Vanessa Tharp, a puttypeep in our community, approached our team and offered to lend her event-organizing skills to help us make a multipotentialite conference a reality, I thought: what the heck. Why not?
Introducing… Everything Conference!
Everything Conference (“ETC” for short — see what I did there?) will take place September 12-15, 2019 in Portland, Oregon. It will be a highly interactive and community-focused event where you get to show up as your whole self. As a participant, you’ll have a chance to join a range of workshops and activities to help you build a sustainable and fulfilling life as a multipotentialite.
ETC is founded on the premise that we each have something awesome to offer. Most of the action will be participant led–maybe you’ll even lead something!

How useful do you think this would be for someone who is extremely introverted, i.e. will not be using it for networking?
Hi K,
Just based on the make up of the Puttylike community, I’d say it will probably be 60-70% introverts. We’ll be planning the conference with that in mind. So lots of smaller groups and a mix of activities, down time, etc. It should be extremely introvert-friendly (especially since I’m a major introvert, as well).

You NEED to try to make this available to the 650+ people who signed up to be on the Waitlist. My son, 19 and trying to find his way in the world without college (yet), was as excited as me to find this type of conference. Please please please try to expand this to include more people this year. I would love to attend.

Tickets are first come, first serve. I’m fairly confident that if you set an alarm for February 12 at 8am PST / 11am EST, you’ll be just fine. I don’t expect early bird tickets to sell out within minutes. More like hours or days. 🙂
