About a month ago, 11 multipotentialites gathered in Portland, Oregon for two days of brainstorming, co-working, and collaboration. It was the inaugural PuttyRetreat.
It’s hard to put the experience into words. You know that feeling when you participate in something so good, that you just feel like you’re contributing to… the wellbeing of humanity? Maybe that’s too strong a sentiment, but I’m not so sure.
Valerie and I can’t take sole credit for the magic. It was the smart, creative, supportive, and interesting PuttyRetreaters who made the weekend as inspiring and fruitful as it was.
The Retreaters seemed to bond instantly. During the group brainstorms (or “huddles”), I saw fears dissolve and creative blocks dislodge. I witnessed the exchange of wise words of support and encouragement. Since the retreat, I’ve seen our Retreaters launch blogs, businesses, record the videos they’d been too afraid to record, and make big changes in their lives.

The next PuttyRetreat
I have good news for the international multipods among us. Valerie and I have decided to hold the second PuttyRetreat in England, in June 2016.
Almost everyone who attended the first retreat told us that two days wasn’t enough, so we’ve decided to make this next one three days long. It will take place from June 4-6, 2016. Registration will open in January, 2016, and the precise location and event details will be announced around this time.

Thanks to everyone who has gotten in touch with excitement and suggestions! Lots of you have expressed that you’d love to attend a PuttyRetreat in your country or region, and we’ll keep all your feedback in mind for future retreats. In the meantime, we’re unbelievably excited to meet fifteen of you in England!
I moved from England 3 years ago and am planning a visit back asap but I’m not sure if it will be as soon as next year, so I thought I’d put out the request for an Australia / New Zealand retreat in the future. Any other multipodes out there from over here?

But, unfortunately my budget is dedicated to the UK/Europe trip I have planned with my mom in May 2016. First time we are both setting foot outside our birth country, EVER!
Maybe one day I can join but here in South Africa, international travel is bit pricey. Maybe one day we will meet in South Africa?
