Last month I had the honour of speaking at TEDxBend. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. As someone who used to hate public speaking (or public attention of any kind really), getting up there in front of 1,400 people and talking about something so personal was… a feat.
This morning, the video of my TED talk was published. It is now live for the world to see!
I poured everything I have into this talk. It’s about multipotentialites, the fact that there’s nothing wrong with us, the fact that we have “super powers,” and why we need to encourage kids to explore their MANY interests.
I believe that this talk has the power to help people all over the world who are struggling with their inability to do just one thing. It will help your friends, family, and employers understand you. It may even get the word “multipotentialite” into popular lexicon. Basically, this TED talk could change everything for us.
But I need your help, urgently!
In order to get the idea of the multipotentialite out into the world, we need to get the snowball rolling. I’ve been told that the TED.com people take note of new talks when there’s a buzz and they’re getting some major views quickly. Something like 15,000 in the first day or two. This is relevant because if the TED.com team like the talk and decide to share it on their main site, then it can really take off.
But I can’t do this alone. If the talk resonates with you and you care about sharing the idea of the multipotentialite (and the fact that being this way is a good thing!), please share the video.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn’t have done this without my multipotentialite family here at Puttylike.
This talk is for you.
