Hey multipotentialites,

Puttylike is on the lookout for new talent for the blog. Come July, we will be hiring one or two new staff writers! Multipotentialite writers, please read on:

Do you think your unique perspective could bring something new to Puttylike? Are you always brimming with new ideas that you want to share with our eclectic tribe? We are looking for writers who want to share experiences, tips, tricks and observations on how to be the best mutipods we can be.

Applicant requirements

  • Demonstrated success with regular online or print publishing
  • An established knowledge of the tone and content of Puttylike
  • Great editing skills (When you submit a post, there should be very little to correct in terms of spelling and grammar.)
  • Ability to gracefully handle constructive criticism and use it towards growth

Job description

A staff writer at Puttylike will submit two blog posts per month, due on the last day of the month. While you’ll be welcome to touch base with Emilie about potential topics or angles, you will largely work independently. Compensation will be $100/month, payable in the first week of the following month (i.e. articles submitted by July 31 would be paid by August 8.)

Your photo and a short bio will be included at the bottom of every published article you write, and you are welcome to include a link to your website and/or social media profiles in your bio.

A bit about the application process

To apply, you’ll need to submit some info about your multipotentialite identity and your history as a writer, as well as a couple references. You’ll also need to pitch three ideas for blog posts that you might submit to Puttylike. Semi-finalists will be interviewed via Skype. Finalists will be asked to develop one of their three ideas into a polished post.

Update: we are no longer accepting applications. Unfortunately, we can not make any exceptions, sorry.
